I like the Scandinavian palette--grays and white, the icy pastels of blue and green, blonde or limed woods. Can't use it because all of our furniture is dark and I have NO desire to refinish it all, not to mention we have kids and I can just imagine how dirt would show up on such a light color scheme. I love the cleanness and brightness of it, though...it esp. looks good in winter light. I can't find a decent photo online...maybe I'm just not looking in the right place.
I also like the kind of deep greens and reds and warm dark woods they use in the Biltmore House. Lowe's Hardware used to sell a line of paint based on that palette. Which I couldn't find when I tried to find the link to that, too *sigh*
