Transition To Maternity Clothing While Pregnant
You are probably excited about your pregnancy but not really sure how you feel about transitioning from your regular clothing into maternity wear. There is no need for fear in this case because there is nothing that says you can not be trendy and pregnant simultaneously. It is happening every day.
It is common place that pregnant women are now more fashionable than ever. This is due to the fact that many clothing companies have realized the need for hip maternity clothing. When there is a market for a product there will be a business to fill the gap.
You will probably have to let go of your skinny jeans as early as the first few months of pregnancy. This does not mean you have to suddenly lose the sense of personality in your wardrobe just because you are pregnant. If you usually wear solid colors as opposed to print, there is no need to suddenly switch to floral tops instead. The days when maternity clothing revolved around flowers are gone. You can also check out maternity clothes at both thrift stores and other such shops. A lot of women who invest in their clothes while pregnant try to at least make a little money back by selling them to such places. If you use patience and are thorough you may find yourself a number of good deals on designer clothing at only a small portion compared to the original price.
Also consider searching deep in your closet behind that portable space heater you have not used in years. Search for those pants with either a string drawn or elastic waist. Clothing that you wear around the holidays when you usually gain a few pounds can help you get through the first months of your pregnancy.
