Is £398 a reasonable price for a club18-30 holiday to Kavos, Corfu July 2011?
I'm 17 and me and 6 girl mates are planning a holiday to Kavos, Corfu for next July. We've had a look around travel agents etc and decided that the club 18-30 deals are exactly what we want. The quote we most like the look of is for:
- £398 pp
- 2x 3 bed apartments (self catering) at the 'Pavlos Studios and Apartments' with pool and bar
- High season, mid-end of July 2011
- Travel included from airport to resort
- Decent flight times from very local airport
- Chosen flight seats
- Beach and Night life is on the doorstep
It looks good but I don't want to be mislead into an unreasonable deal. Any advice or comments would be great. Thanks xx
i went to book pretty much the exact same holiday today, for myself and 6 girl mates, on a club 18-30 holiday.
I think the best place to book it through is Thompsons as they arrange it all very simply for you and explain everything pretty well, making sure its all above board so you wont have problems when you get out there.
however.. i would strongly advise looking at reviews on the internet so you know what youre getting into before you book anything.
all of the accommodation on the club 18-30 holidays is extremely basic, a lot of it is very dirty, and if you want more than an hours sleep a night, its probably best to consider going somewhere else.
but if you only want to crash there after a crazy night out, youre up for a laugh, easy going and you want to be close to the town, its the perfect holiday for 17 yr olds.
its not unreasonable for the height of season, and bang smack in the centre location. however..
if you want anything at all extra like air con youll have to be prepared to pay.
as soon as you get there, the reps will try and pressure you into paying hundreds to get places on "clubbing nights" with them, these are a complete rip off and a waste of money, its much cheaper to organise your own nights out.
