So i am thinking of having my friend pierce my septum for me and i was going to get a ring at Claire's. I had called and asked if they had surgical stainless steel (because i had heard that is what you should use for your piercing first) and they said they just had stainless steel. What is the difference and would it matter if i used that one instead of surgical?
