The so-called "Underwear Bomber" gets multiple sentences of life in jail
without the possibility of parole. WCBS reports...
**"The al Qaeda follower known as the underwear bomber was sentenced to life
in prison today. ... Umar Abdul Mutallub pleaded guilty on trying to detonated
a bomb on a Christmas flight in 2009."**
According to Nigeria Politics Online, the Nigerian, who authorities say was on
a suicide mission for Al Qaeda, was traveling on a flight from Amsterdam to
Detroit. He told the court...
**"'The Koran obliges every able Muslim to participate in jihad and fight in
the way of Allah... I carried the device to avenge the killing of my Muslim
brothers and sisters... Unfortunately, my actions make me guilty of a
