Trendy Colors For Your Bathroom

When you are redecorating your bathroom, you can really create a little piece of heaven in your home. Depending on the colors that you choose to use in your space, you can create a completely different look and feel to the room. You can make it relaxing, energizing, soothing, or rejuvenating. There are all sorts of tile colors, materials and decorative metal wall hangings, and to complement your tile, you can choose any one of a seemingly unlimited number of colors.

Bold Bathroom – Instead of the drab, neutral or stark white bathrooms of yesteryear, more and more color is being pulled into bathroom design. Colors such as teal and wine are being added to bathrooms to lend bold interest to the space. While either of these colors would certainly be a good choice to cover a wall, you may still prefer a neutral background with your bold color in your accessories. Either way works fine.

Blue, Green and Purple – It is all a matter of degree when you are adding color to your bathroom. By adding sea foam green and aqua blue, you can create a tranquil feeling to your bathroom. Then, by including some violet accessories or butterflies metal wall decor, you add interest to this tranquil space. You can also echo this color palette in glass or ceramic tiles used to border the shower and tub.

Brown and Blue – Again a matter of degree, this color combination can bring to mind everything from country to modern. By keeping your wood trim and cabinetry a warm brown, you can add a denim blue to your bathroom to create a calm rustic country look. By having all of your wood features a chocolate brown and adding turquoise to the space, you add a distinctly youthful and contemporary aesthetic to the space.

Blue and White - Blue is a classically popular choice for bathroom decor. Pair it with white, and you have an instant nautical feel to your bathroom. By using this simplistic color scheme, you can use patterns and stripes to add visual interest and appeal to this crisp look.

Neutrals – Always in style tan, pale grey and cream are always a welcome color palette in the bathroom. Lending a natural look to the room, these colors work with slate, river rock and stone as well as with natural woods and metallic elements. Neutral colors is always appropriate in the bath.

Soft White – Instead of installing stark white tiles, fixtures and walls in your bathroom, you may want to opt for a softer white version of these elements. An appealing option that will downplay the clinical feel of a stark white bathroom is eggshell or cream.

Black and White - This classic color palette can be playful, elegant, or dramatic all at once. You might also think about adding a single bright color to the mix and making the area ultra contemporary. Add a black and white checkerboard pattern floor to your room for a retro look, or create an interesting pattern in your shower wall tile. Add a classic black border around white tile walls for a tailored and classic look.

average cost for installing white oak floors per square foot to be finished.?

floorboards are 5" wide. Existing carpet will be removed and underlaying and flooring will be installed. Then sanded and finished. No stain. Estimated 775 Sq. ft. including 10%waist factor. I just cannot find online anyone who can give an idea of an average labor cost per square ft. What are the factors for determining cost per square foot for unfinished white oak hardwood 5" wide.

Just the installation and finishing will run about 5$ a s/f plus materials ( +- a bit of course).
This is just labor. no materials or extras such as old rip ot , disposal, floor prep if needed etc. Doesn t matter if its 2" or 5" boards cost will be the same in a s/f format.

Detroit isn't a blank canvas. Instead, it's a complex scene that has
everything an entrepreneur needs to start their dream company, Josh Linkner
writes.

**"Detroit is a blank canvas."**

I cringe every time I hear this phrase, even though it's used by people who
mean well.

To say something that references "emptiness" regarding a city founded in 1701
is both unfair and inaccurate, as it implies that there's nothing here--or
worse--that there's nothing worth talking about here.

By suggesting this, the speaker disregards momentum building around the
Detroit 2.0 movement, which is in full swing. Dan Gilbert, my partner ...
